originally "In Jesus Name Fellowship" was founded on August 19, 1999. Seven families started it by just meeting personally in a garage of one of those families. It was just a small bible study group with no Pastor leading them. They seek God's help through praying together for God's plan on what they are doing.
Those seven families were already believers in Christ which came from a very established church in orani but have been divided because of some internal issues. So, they decided to continue their faith in Christ by conducting a small bible study. Until they came to a realization that they need a Pastor to lead them. But before that they decided ahead of time to name the local church they believe God will open in Orani. They all joined together constantly in prayer, and seek suggestions to each and everyone in the family by writing down in a piece of paper the name of the church they prefer. Someone wrote "In Jesus Name" and it was chosen as they cast lots after praying to God.
Naming the church "In Jesus Name" was truly from God because after that, He provides a man as their Pastor. God moves in mysterious ways.
December 19,2020 was the first sunday service held in a garage in Parang-Parang, Orani, Bataan. As the church grew in numbers, there's no option but to change venue so, they rented the covered hall of Orani South Central Elementary School for two years, and moved to a place in kaparangan offered by one of the leaders. The place was called "hatchery" where previously eggs called "balut" were made. No rentals are made, only a small share for water & electric bill consumption.
Little by little, by God's provisions, all instruments, chairs, tables, etc. were provided until, a lot & church building were also miraculously given by God.
It is not that easy, but the church have finished paying the lot for five years and the first church building was made from donations of old galvanized iron, woods, bamboo even mats & blankets. Whatever that can cover the church, they were patch there.
God is so good that he touches the heart of faithful tithers & givers and in 2010, a formal church building was built.
By soul winning & discipleships, God raised leaders for the church and from them bible studies were opened and souls are added. Up until this present times God continously show a way and blessed His people and from then on the rest is history. To God be all the Glory, Honor, and Praise!
